Vocal Works of Pavel Jurkovič

The bachelor thesis of Pavel Jurkovič's vocal work maps Jurkovič's compositions to the texts of poets Václav Fischer, Jan Vodňanský, Jiří Žáček and poet Věra Provazníková. Maps his work to the folk, spiritual and his own texts including lullabies, and his work to the texts of Czech and foreign authors. The aim of the work is to approach and characterize not only works repeatedly published, but especially to make part of the composer's estate accessible by a list of unpublished manuscripts. The thesis offers a comparison of published songbooks with unpublished work. The result is an accurate list of 97 lullabies, an inventory of part of Jurkovič's manuscript estate and an inventory of Jurkovič's bibliography from 2006 to 2020.

The aim of the presented text is to provide analyses of selected choral compositions and subsequently to highlight the development of his composing activities in his work. Vocal works of Bohuslav Martinů with a focus on his lieder works

The thesis aim is to document and aptly characterize the lieder works of the composer Bohuslav Martinů. It is devided into four main chapters. The first three chapters are dedicated to Martinu ´s lied work in detail and the fourth chapter briefly touches Martinu´s complete vocal works - choral works, cantates, oratoria and melodramas.

The dissertation introduces the reader to the 20th century Czech composer Zdeňek Lukáš, familiarizing the reader with his compositions for voice and providing the author's own interpretation of the song cycle Prosté písně. The first chapters provide information on the composer's life, the development of his compositional style, and, most importantly, the author's compositions themselves, which had a significant impact on the 20th century Czech music scene. The following chapters are dedicated to individual songs of the song cycle Prosté písně, focusing on its interpretation, the relationship between the text and the music, and the union of three components of the cycle - voice, flute, and piano. Worldwide choral Work and Capella by Francis Poulenc

This thesis is a brief study of profane a capella works for mixed chorus by Francis Poulenc, the well known componist of the first half of twentieth century. On one hand the work descriebes his basic living moments important for his life and artistic work. On the other it analyze his profane works which was written for the mixed chorus a capella, i.e. without any instrumental accompaniment, reflecting mainly its musical form, harmonical structure and his technigue of composition.
